What is a VIGOROS Canon?

A Canon is a governed system of expert judgment. It formalizes an expert’s knowledge, reasoning methods, exceptions, standards and quality gates so an authorized team can work from the same decision architecture.

Is this an AI clone of the expert?

No. VIGOROS does not claim to reproduce a person’s consciousness, personality or professional authority. It structures a defined body of judgment, with explicit sources, boundaries and review gates.

How is this different from a custom GPT or knowledge base?

Retrieval finds content. A Canon adds the architecture around expert judgment: authority hierarchies, domain distinctions, reasoning patterns, exceptions, benchmark tests, quality gates and a controlled teaching loop.

What does ‘decision alpha’ mean?

Decision alpha is the additional speed, consistency and analytical quality created when differentiated judgment can be applied beyond the expert’s direct availability. It is not a guarantee of investment returns or any particular outcome.

Can a Canon be wrong?

Yes. Any AI-assisted system can produce errors. VIGOROS is designed to expose sources, uncertainty and release gates, but high-consequence decisions still require qualified human review.

Can I build a vertical outside markets and law?

Yes. The platform is domain-generic. A strong vertical requires a recognized expert, a meaningful corpus, stable decision criteria, clear users and standards that can be tested.
